The first of a new series of events, S3 Connect is a young professional mixer designed to allow Christians to come together for a cause. Believers of all doctrines will network, share and fellowship while enjoying music, a live painting (to be auctioned off), hors d’oeuvres, special non-alcoholic cocktails and something special to satisfy your sweet tooth. Be sure to bring your business cards, ideas, and ambitions to establish new relationships with other believers.

S3 is a unique experience designed to be a fun nightlife alternative for Christians, while generating money and resources for the Social Saints REACT Fund. Funds raised from S3 Connect will go to benefit those affected by the floods Atlantans experienced in September. We also encourage all attendees to bring a canned good for our Thanksgiving REACT Canned Food Drive.

You may recall from an earlier discussion question our conversation about the negative effects recessions can have on marriages.  We had a pretty decent discussion about it, but the issue hasn’t solved itself.  Today on Oprah, M. Gary Neuman will discuss the ways in which any couple can recession-proof their marraiges.  I highly recommend every couple, married or unmarried, catch this episode.  We will definitely be watching!  Be sure to stop by after the show and leave your comments.

I found an interesting slideshow today on Newsweek that featured their ten most powerful couples and who they felt was the most powerful of the two.  Most of them are not Copreneurs as Bizzyness would define them, but are noteworthy nonetheless.  I learned about a few new couples, but felt like they left some noteworthy couples off the list.  Read the rest of this entry »
