About the founders…

Akuba is a consulting analyst from Riverdale, GA. She is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in International Affairs. Having grown up with a father who owns his own business, she was bitten by the entrepreneur bug early. At the age of ten, she started her own business, ‘Fingers’, selling lanyard key chains. The bug never quit biting and now in her twenties, she is currently working on starting several different businesses which she plans to launch both online and in the Atlanta area in addition to Bizzyness. Like her partner and colleague, she is big on philanthropy and serves as the Vice President of Public Relations for K.O.P.E., Inc., a social activist organization that raises awareness about social, political, and economic matters.

Justin is an idealist and e-marketer from Jonesboro, Georgia. He is a graduate of Georgia State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Marketing. Justin, a firm disbeliever in the “punch-clock promise,” had already scratched entrepreneur off his to-do list before he was of legal drinking age and retired from Corporate America at the age of twenty-five. A self-proclaimed serial entrepreneur, Justin has owned a car and home audio company, a web design and development firm, and served as an independent consultant to several Fortune 1000 companies. In addition to Bizzyness, Justin owns and operates Big Boom the Idea Group (www.bbigonline.com) which is a specialized marketing strategies group that helps small and medium sized businesses leverage the internet to drive results in both the virtual and real world. Justin is not only big on business, he is also big on philanthropy which is why he serves as the Co-Chair and Executive Director for Masscomm, a non-profit organization with a unique and fresh approach to community enrichment and awareness based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
